duotrio is a modular chamber music ensemble founded in NYC by trumpet player and composer Daniel Nissenbaum.
Daniel Nissenbaum is a professional trumpet player, composer and film scorer. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
As a trumpet player and recording artist, Daniel has recorded with and/or performed with Donald Byrd, Marcus Miller, Bobby Rydell, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, MISIA, Darlene Love, The Drifters, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), The Marvellettes, The Toys, and The Disco Biscuits.
As a media composer, Daniel has worked for WaitWhat (Media Productions), The Smithsonian Channel, Chicken and Egg Productions, Nickelodeon and other independent companies. He has an ongoing position as assistant to composer Giancarlo Vulcano (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Briarpatch).
Until the fall of 2021, he composed music and wrote songs and lyrics for the many time Webby Award-winning (and Ambie-nominated) business podcast, “Masters of Scale”.
He additionally freelances with the music supervisory agency We Are Walker, collaborating on music for advertising and commercials.
